Sillustani is actually situated on a peninsula and I\u2019m pretty sure that we had just as much fun running around looking for the perfect spot for our next set of pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the chullpas, or the tower-like tombs at Sillustani, have been destroyed due to centuries of lightning and normal wear and tear; however, in normal Peruvian fashion the government is \u201cresurrecting\u201d many of ruins we saw today.<\/p>\n<p>This trip has morphed into one of a lifetime with some of the greatest people I have met. I couldn\u2019t ask for a better, or more fun group. He plans to pursue a career in Federal Drug Investigations specializing is the South American Continent.
