We have been some busy college students this summer!! Our schedules have consisted of working our regular jobs, fundraisers, homework \u00a0and begining to pack for our incredible adventure to Honduras.<\/p>\n
As of today, We have already \u00a0had a fundraiser at chick-fil-a drive-thru outside Regency Square mall, and at Frostbite close to 7-points in Florence. \u00a0We also hosted a yard sale in town and sold lots of stuff and made some much needed cash! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Last Sunday, August 29th, 2012, the group got together and started “pill packing”. \u00a0Everyone going on the trip paid an extra $40 so we could check an extra bag at the airport full of medications, and medical equipment that the honduran people and healthcare providers desperately need. \u00a0The trick is we had to make sure that no bag weighed over 50lbs!!!<\/p>\n

We will be leaving Florence for the Huntsville airport at 0230 Friday Morning August 3rd, 2012.
